C. Bennett Jackson, Jr., is a principal and co-founder of C. B. Jackson Law, a Professional Law Corporation, formerly Kendrick, Jackson & Kearl/Jackson & Kearl, which was established in 1993.
Mr. Jackson restricts his legal practice to probate and trust law, with emphasis in probate and trust dispute litigation, estate planning, and related real estate and business matters, including litigation, in which he has more than 40 years of experience. He has received and holds an “AV Preeminent” rating for professional abilities and ethical standards with Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.
Mr. Jackson is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all California State Courts, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Central, Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California. He is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association.
Mr. Jackson received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University, Stanford, California. Following graduation, he was employed by Security Pacific National Bank in its Trust Department in probate estate, conservatorship, guardianship and trust administration, Branch Trust Department supervision, and Trust Legal Services, until he received his Juris Doctorate in 1968 from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California.
Mr. Jackson was engaged in the general practice of law, including real estate, business, criminal and family law, in Pasadena California. In 1972, he moved to Newport Beach, California, and continued practicing law in the areas of probate and trust litigation, trust and estate planning, general real estate, real estate lending, and general business.
Mr. Jackson has served on the Newport Beach Public Library Board of Trustees (1988-1997), and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.
